Together we’ll start with a walk in the gardens and discuss growing your own dye plants and harvesting for dye work. You will get to learn and practice two techniques of extracting pigment using the fresh harvest and dried blooms - bundle dyeing \u0026amp; ecoprint. We will work with pre-mordanted silk, cottons and yarn fiber samples. You can choose additional re-purposed fabrics from Spokane Zero Waste to build confidence naturally dyeing your own garments and fabrics at home. It’s a welcoming space for creative play, curiosity, and connection—no prior experience needed.
